Gale is married with one adult daughter. She has lived in Rutland for over 20 years.
She is now retired but previously worked as a teacher, in local government, for the Local Government Association and for the Audit Commission.
Gale has a BSc (Economics) from the London School of Economics and a Certificate in Further and Higher Education from London University.
Gale was first elected to Rutland County Council in 2011 and over the years has been involved with most aspects of the Council's work.
In her leisure time she is actively involved with the Church of England in Rutland and is a season ticket holder with Luton Town F.C.
