The
Rutland Health and Wellbeing Board has now been established as a
formal committee of Rutland County Council in 2013, this is at the
request of central government.
This
Board acts as an advisory body to:

Rutland County
Council
·
NHS
Leicestershire County and Rutland
·
The East
Leicestershire and Rutland Clinical Commissioning Group
(GPs)
Advice
will be in relation to the spending and service priorities of these
bodies.
The
main aim of a Health and Wellbeing Board is to:

Promote joint
working between the NHS, social care, public health and other local
services
·
Improve local
democratic accountability (the voice of local people)
