Nick is married with one son, William aged 18. He grew up in Rutland from the age of 12, only leaving to go to university.

A graduate of the University of Hull, and latterly achieving a Masters from The University of the West of England, Bristol he currently works as Head of Growth in the energy efficiency market, and is a qualified marketer.

Nick was elected to the Greetham Ward in April 2016, and is determined to build on his father's legacy, to promote the Greetham Ward, and the wider interests of Rutland. In particular a focus on housing and employment to allow people to remain in Rutland, plus a keen interest on keeping children and adults alike active through sport and other recreation. Environment is also a key interest both locally, in this wonderful county, and globally.

Outside of work, Nick takes an active role coaching children rugby and cricket, and is President of Oakham Cricket Club. He also plays golf, and watches his son play a lot of cricket and rugby.
