Giles lives in Ridlington.  After attending Sedbergh School, he graduated with a degree in history from Nottingham University and was Called to the Bar by the Middle Temple before working for a Shadow Minister when David Cameron was Leader of the Opposition.  He then worked in public affairs in the small business, agricultural and retail sectors, trying to secure the best deal for UK businesses and industries so that they can prosper and create more and better jobs.

Giles is passionate about our rural way of life and countryside and is a Trustee of the Campaign for the Preservation of Rural England Rutland.  In his spare time Giles enjoys running, walking, history and current affairs.
