Purpose:
To seek approval to defer the re-procurement
of the Waste Contracts to enable consideration of waste
infra-structure requirements.
To recommend to Council the extension of existing contracts to
bridge any gap in service as appropriate.
To delegate authority to Directors in consultation with Cabinet
Members to make the necessary arrangements to develop required
business cases and negotiate detailed terms and conditions to
extend contracts.
Decisions:
Consideration was given to Report No.170/2022 from the Portfolio Holder for Communities, Environment and Climate Change, following consideration it was moved by Councillor M Oxley and seconded that the recommendations be approved. This was seconded and being put to vote the motion was unanimously agreed.

That Cabinet:
APPROVED the recommendations of Report No. 170/2022.
