Tim has lived in Rutland for 13 years with his wife.  He graduated from the University of Birmingham and after training became a General Practitioner in Melton Mowbray where he was in practice for over 30 years.

In 2014 he became a member of North Luffenham Parish Council and in 2018 became, and still is, the Chair of the Parish Council.

As well as being a member of the parish council, Tim was a founder member of the North Luffenham Good Neighbour Scheme and is the current chair.

Tim was newly elected to Rutland County Council in 2023 and committed to supporting sustainable growth, affordable housing and renewable energy whilst preserving the rural nature of Rutland.

Outside of parish and council commitments family is all important to him and he enjoys walking and cycling the lanes of Rutland as well as water sports.
