Diane finally achieved her dream of moving to Oakham three years ago, having been a frequent visitor for the past 30 years.
She previously worked as a Specialist Cardiothoracic Nurse and Senior Hospital Manager but now teaches undergraduate and postgraduate Business, Management and Healthcare in Birmingham.
Her interests are the economic development of both Rutland and Oakham and the health and wellbeing of its residents.
Newly elected in May 2023, she is a keen traveller, helps to support a family business in Madagascar and is a vociferous reader.
